My New Book

My book has been published. This book was genuinely based on my master theses in Leiden University. Hopefully, it is able to contribute the academic culture and Muslim scholarship in Indonesia. I tried to describe the development of the ICMI (Ikatan Cendikiawan Muslim Indonesia) after the New Order. The mutual relationship between The ICMI members and Soeharto's authority during the New Order became the starting point to study and examine its role after the New Order. I assumed that after the New Order the ICMI has no longer been as an important organization. Rather, it is only as 'umbrella' organization which is not as significant as NU or Muhammadiyah.
